Our story

How did Ethea start?

During our work and studies, we grow concerned about how large players use data and AI to their advantage to win in the market. Unethical data and AI usages harms society and the world in general. And we wished that things would be better. That was one of the factors that lead us to taking the course about ethics and technology at our university.

During the course we came to an understanding that with little more effort our group could have a winning product in our fingertips that actually could bring a positive change to some of the vulnerable players in the market. Our team knew other people who shared our values and could be a great fit. So, we gathered a good team with complementary skills and competencies and challenged ourselves to create a service that would improve world, decision making and be accessible.
